Just an Emma funny

Emma loves to play Candyland. But she calls it the gingerbread man game. Now, when she says gingerbread, I've always noticed that her "b" sound isn't very pronounced, and tonight we learned why. We just finished a rousing game of candyland and I had the 4 gingerbread men pieces lined up. I asked her what their names were. She said Gingerbread man. I said, let's give them names. She complained that they already had names, and very emphatically pointed to the red one, "ginger red man," then blue "gingerblue man," green "gingergreen man" etc. Isn't it funny how kids interpret things? We were laughing pretty hard. But maybe that's just funny to us :)
